Do your weekday evenings tend to feel a little too predictable? Would you like to experience something different for a change – something that makes you laugh, marvel, and think along? We have just the thing for you! An enjoyable evening filled with colourful stories, unexpected adventures, and great humour!
Our conversation evening series “Adventure Stories from Land and Sea” continues, and this time our guest is a man whose sharp tongue, straightforward manner, and witty humour rarely leave anyone indifferent – Juku-Kalle Raid!
A journalist, writer, poet, TV and radio host, politician, and world traveller. Over the years, Juku-Kalle has done a little bit of everything, and his paths have crossed with all kinds of fascinating and colourful characters. But how much do we really know about the stories that never make it onto television, radio, or the pages of newspapers?
His travels have taken him to many corners of the world, providing plenty of experiences and stories worth sharing. And when Juku-Kalle starts reminiscing, you can be sure it wont be your typical travelogue!
Which encounters have been the most memorable? Where have his most unexpected adventures taken him? Is there a place he would never want to visit again? And which stories are so outrageous that youll find yourself wondering whether they really happened?
One thing is certain – this evening will be anything but boring!
The evening will be hosted by our charismatic and eloquent Meelis Sarv.
Come and enjoy great company, Georgian hospitality, and stories you wont find in any ordinary travel book!
Juku-Kalle will also bring copies of his book “Riigikogu kevade”, available at a special price of just €20 – cheaper than in bookstores!
The entrance fee is €8 and includes a welcome drink upon arrival.
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the event begins.
