On May 15, one of the most famous winemakers in the Penedès region – Raventós i Blanc will visit Ocean 11 restaurant.

This is one of the oldest wineries in Europe, with a history dating back to 1497 and still family-owned – now in its 21st generation. All of their 90 hectares of vineyards are biodynamic, respecting natural rhythms and sustainable principles. Raventós i Blanc abandoned the cava appellation in 2012 to focus on producing even higher quality sparkling wines – the kind that could be a worthy alternative to champagne.

During the evening, you can enjoy a special 5-course menu, accompanied by carefully selected Raventós i Blanc and Can Sumoi wines:

Raventós i Blanc Blanc de Blanc – Oyster duo, champagne vinegar mignonette
Raventós i Blanc De Nit Rosé – Scallop crudo, mango-passion sauce, prosciutto, micro herbs
Can Sumoi Xarel-lo – Grilled octopus, warm cherry tomato-fennel salad, arugula, pine nuts
Can Sumoi Garnatxa – Grilled beef flank steak, asparagus, tomato confit, herb-garlic olive oil sauce
Sweet ending – Greek yogurt-grasshopper panna cotta, pickled rhubarb, crispbread + coffee/tea
